The ambitious Blue City Amaravati concept is steadily taking shape with the development of a greenfield network of reservoirs and canals aimed at mitigating flood risks while improving urban livability and tourism potential.
The integrated system includes Neerukonda, Sakhamuru and Penumaka (Krishnayapalem) reservoirs along with major canals such as Kondaveeti Vagu, Pala Vagu and Gravity Canal.
