The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) hailed the NDA regime for pursuing a strong development agenda and criticized the former UPA regime for suffering not only from “policy paralysis” but also acute corruption.

Party spokesperson and TTD board member G. Bhanuprakash Reddy at a press conference here on Sunday presented a comparative picture of the current NDA regime and the previous UPA regime and painted a contrasting narrative of “schemes vs scams”.

He called the NDA the pioneer of the “twin-engine sarkar” that has put India among the world’s top economies. On the other hand, he pulled out the INDIA block for playing “cheap politics” and out of frustration leveled ridiculous allegations against the regime.

“The picture is clear. The NDA has a vision to showcase and therefore has solid public support. There is no point in the opposition making ridiculous allegations,” he said.
