BITS Pilani through its Work Integrated Learning Programs (WILP) has opened its Smart Manufacturing Competency Center (SMCC) at Electronic City, Bengaluru.
Bengaluru, with its unique industrial environment, can create opportunities for deep industry-academia collaboration, enabling SMCC to function not only as a training center but also as a problem-solving and innovation partner for various industries, including aerospace, defense, electronics, automotive and advanced manufacturing, according to BITS Pilani officials. The center would offer short 2-3 day intensive training programs and six month courses as per industry needs.
