BeLa presents awards to teachers in Belagavi district

BeLa (Belagavi Ladies) awarded 130 teachers of Belagavi district.

At a ceremony in the Foundry Cluster, guests honored the teachers selected from 1,098 applicants. Bollywood actor Sudesh Berry and BeLa CEO Lakshmi Khilari presented the awards.

Ms Khilari acknowledged the profound role teachers played in shaping her life and journey. “I lost my father at a young age. For me, this is not just an award ceremony. It’s an expression of gratitude. That’s why BeLa wanted to honor teachers,” she said in a statement.
