
Council for cricket control in India (BCCI) will organize the 94 annual General Meeting (AGM) at 11:30 AM 28 September 2025 at his headquarters in Mumbai with the election of the authority wearers, including the president who overcomes the agenda.
In the communication of the state association Minister Devayit Saikia confirmed that public opinion surveys will be carried out for the positions of the President, Vice -President, Secretary, Common Secretary and Treasurer. Representatives of the council of the peak from the general authority and the Indian cricket association will also be elected.
The agenda also includes the election of two members to the IPL Council, together with one representative of the Indian cricket association. Public opinion surveys will also be carried out for the Committee for the Prime Minister of Women. In addition, the Ombudsman of Rights and Ethics will be appointed, while a permanent committee, cricket committee and arbitration committee will be established on the same day.
Before AGM, it is expected that BCCi will be discussed and completed at a high level. While the position of the secretary, the common secretary and the treasurer is likely to see how existing entities will continue, elections will be required for the positions of the President and Vice -President.
The competition for the highest contributions remains open. No decision has been taken for the Presidency, with a former player and cricket administrator. The current vice -president of Rajeev Shukl is considered a leading candidate. According to sources, three scenarios are discussed-it would continue as a vice-chairman, promote the BCCI president or take over the accusations as IPL chairman. Although it seems that the most likely result is its continuation in the current role, it is said that there is a 60-40 chance of his promotion to the president.
As part of the IPL Council, the position of the former treasurer BCCI Anirudh Choudhura could see the position of the IPL. From Bengal is also in the rivalry of Avisshek Dalmiya, currently a member of the IPL Council. However, the final decisions will depend on the discussions at the management meeting.
