Contemporary architecture with clean lines, fresh color and thoughtfully designed landscaping may be rare for the state educational institution, but the Government Primary and Secondary School in IRRUM Manzil, directly in the heart of Hyderabad, warns, both online and offline.
The school was founded in the 60s of the 20th century to educate children of the secretariat, when Hyderabad replaced Kurnool as the capital of the state, once flourished almost 600 students. In 2012, this did a way to expand the Nizama Institute of Medical Sciences, after which the government laid the foundation for a new building.
For more than ten years, the school continued its office with minimal infrastructure in the middle of demolition work in this area. Despite the challenges, its strategic location was easily accessible to children from nearby colonies, and even in recent days it boasted by writing more than 300 students.
Minister of Roads and Buildings KOMATIREDDY VODKAT REDDY, who started the school 6 October, said it was built at a price of approximately 7.7 GBP Crore. The new building with both primary and secondary schools has 40 classrooms, library, laboratories and specialized administrative facilities.
Mr. Reddy called it “no less than a corporate school” and expressed pride in the project, while the local MLA Danam Nagender described it as a “model school for Hyderabad”. The leaders also designed to equip classrooms using air -conditioning and digital teaching tools to increase the educational environment.
The school now has a power of about 400 students and can accommodate up to 700. The two -storey building has two more floors in the future.
The school was built by the Megha Engineering & Infrastructure Ltd., which also expands the hospital. Within the same locality, the company also carries out a new building for the Ravindra Niketan school.
