The match on December 13, which was originally scheduled to be played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, will now be played at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam.

Why was India vs Sri Lanka 1st ODI postponed?

The DDCA approached the BCCI for a change of venue, citing its inability to host an international match amid renovation work and adverse weather conditions expected in Delhi during December. The association feared that the ongoing work at the Arun Jaitley Stadium along with the possibility of weather-related disruptions could affect the smooth organization of the match. The BCCI subsequently approved the request and confirmed Visakhapatnam as the new venue for the start of the series.
