Asian Games Day 5: Roshibina, relay team delivers silver; Seema is leading the bronze rush

India enjoyed a productive fifth day at the Asian Games, adding five medals in athletics, shooting, wushu and rowing. Athletics opened their medal account in style, with Seema Kumari winning bronze in the women’s 10,000m before the 4x400m medley relay secured silver.

The shooting duo of Anantjeet Singh Naruka and Parinaaz Dhaliwal won bronze in mixed team skeet, Roshibina Devi added silver in wushu and Satnam Singh and Salman Khan won bronze in rowing. Apart from the medal events, India also progressed in hockey, kabaddi, squash, table tennis, boxing and athletics to set up a packed finale today.
