
Jammu and Kashmir News: Two unidentified terrorists were killed after the Indian Army units thwarted the infiltration attempt along the inspection (LOC) in Jamm and Kashmir’s Kupwara district, officials said on Tuesday.
According to officials, the units detected the suspicious movement near Loc in buywar late on Monday evening and attacked the intruders, leading to a short fire exchange.
“Based on a specific JKP intelligence entry and confirmed by sources and agencies concerning the probable attempt to infiltrate, a joint operation of the Indian Army and Police Jammu and Kashmir in the Machhal sector, Kupwara, October 13, 2025,” said the Srinagar Corps on X.
“The warnings saw suspicious activity and thought, resulting in the opening of terrorists regardless of fire. The soldiers responded with effective fire, neutralized two terrorists. A large number of weapons and equipment were obtained,” he added.
The operation remains, the army confirmed.
