Aquaculture farmers in Andhra Pradesh are in an upbeat mood as seafood exports from India crossed the ₹ 72,000 crore mark in FY 2025-26 and saw an increase in the corresponding figures from FY 2024-25.
India’s seafood exports crossed ₹72,000 crore, reaching an all-time high in the country’s seafood history, with Andhra Pradesh’s share accounting for more than 30% of exports.
