Justice EV Venugopal of the Telangana High Court on Friday from the Punjagutta police station asked Inspector Ramakrishna to know under what authority in law the advocate had breathalyzed advocate Subba Rao, who had visited the police to inquire about the case.
After hearing the plea filed by the lawyer, the judge also wanted to know what were the reasons that led to the disturbance that prompted the police to conduct the test. Justice Venugopal observed that a video clip presented by advocate V. Raghunath, appearing for the petitioner, proved that Subba Rao was subjected to a breathalyzer test that was “unknown to the law”.
