The AP State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC), on his 74 -year journey, not only secured several rights and social measures for RTC workers, but also played a key role in the historical merger of the corporation with the state government, said Andhra Pradesh Jac Amaravati chairman of Bopparaju Venkateswa.
Mr. Venkateswarla at the event, which marked the 74th anniversary of the Union on Friday, remembered long -term efforts to fusion, watched since 1952 and eventually realized in 2020. These problems were later solved through 92 -day agitation jointly led by AP Jac Amaravati and the Association of Employees during the term of office of the previous government.
Mr. Venkateswarl reported that the representation was recently presented to M. Ravi Chandra, secretary of the main minister and was looking for a remedy of waiting questions. He reaffirmed full support AP JAC for the cause of the public transport department.
He appreciated the government for ensuring early payments of salaries and pensions, but emphasized the concerns of employees regarding waiting fees, long -term 12. The AP Department of Public Transport (APPTD) President of the State Department of P. Damodar Rao urged the government to clean the long -waiting promotion actions held for more than six years. He pointed out that nearly 25% of APSRTC buses were rented to private operators and demanded that only RTC employees were operated by the proposed induction of electric buses to the RTC fleet.
He said that the successful implementation of the proposed system of free bus for women would require an immediate recruitment of 10,000 new employees and adding 3,000 buses. He also pushed the restoration of medical services through a system of recommendations by hospital hospital, payment of reward and boundaries for retirement employees and job security for outsourced workers.
Representatives of the association of various employees also attended the event.
