
The company announced on Monday that Apple TV+ will be streaming for free on its first weekend in January 2025. The Cupertino-based tech giant’s streaming service will offer weekend promotions and stream Apple’s original movies and shows for free without any subscriptions. This limited cycle plan comes ahead of the release of popular Apple original content such as Severance Season 2, Mythic Quest and Priend Target, all of which premiered in January 2025.
Apple TV+Free Streaming
According to Apple, users can stream Apple’s originals between January 4 and January 5 without any subscriptions. They can simply open the Apple TV+ app, which is pre-installed on Apple devices and start watching content. For two days, they have access to Apple originals such as award-winning series, compelling drama, groundbreaking documentaries, children’s entertainment, comedy and more. This includes morning performances, Ted Lasso, Dismissal, Dark Matter and All Humanity.
Apple TV+ can also be used on other supported platforms such as smartphones, tablets, laptops or smart TVs, as well as free viewing of movies and shows.
It is worth noting that Apple TV+ is available for free for three months when purchasing any new Apple device. Monthly subscribers can also give a 7-day trial of the streaming service before signing up for a subscription, which is Rs. 99 per month. It is also included in an Apple plan, with a cost of Rs. At 195 per month, this also provides access to 200GB of iCloud data, Apple Arcade and Apple Music.
Additionally, the Apple Music student program also has a free subscription to Apple TV+.
Subscribe to Apple with Airtel
Airtel subscribers can enjoy Apple TV+ and Apple Music subscriptions in India, and enjoy a selection of prepaid and postpaid plans in India. It is bundled with premium Airtel WiFi and postpaid plans. Meanwhile, mobile users will be able to enjoy subscriptions to Apple Music, an audio streaming service of Cupertino-based tech giant and owns Airtel’s own Wynk Premium subscription.
