APCPDCL is planning awareness camps on solar systems from October 6 to 8

APCPDCL is organizing Seva Sethu Abhiyan camps for three days starting Tuesday (October 6, 2026) in its jurisdiction, CMD P. Pulla Reddy announced in a press release on Monday (October 5). The primary objective of the campaign is to bring solar energy closer to every household and create consumer awareness about the benefits of installing rooftop solar systems under the Prime Minister’s Surya Ghar—Muft Bijli Yojana.

Under this scheme, financial assistance of ₹ 30,000 for 1 kW rooftop solar system and ₹ 60,000 and ₹ 78,000 for 2 kW and 3 kW or above systems is provided by the central government to eligible domestic consumers. The subsidy will provide financial support to households that opt ​​for rooftop solar installations.
