Anukul Roy gets India call-up for tri-series in Sri Lanka after Harsh Dubey’s promotion to senior Indian squad
NEW DELHI: All-rounder Anukul Roy has been added to the India A squad for the upcoming tri-series in Sri Lanka after Harsh Dubey earned his first call-up to the senior Indian team for the home series against Afghanistan.The BCCI made the announcement on Thursday, with Jharkhand and Kolkata Knight Riders all-rounders drafted into the squad as Dubey moves into the senior national squad.“The men’s selection committee has added Anukul Roy to the India A squad for the upcoming tri-series in Sri Lanka. He replaces Harsh Dubey, who has been called up for the first time in India’s Test and ODI squad for the upcoming home series against Afghanistan,” the BCCI said in a statement.The tri-series with India A, Sri Lanka A and Afghanistan A will be held in Dambulla from June 9 to June 21, 2026.Anukul has quietly played a valuable role for KKR in IPL 2026, playing 13 matches and picking up eight wickets during the franchise’s play-off run.
