Chief Minister Siddaramaiah accused BJP for incidents in Maddur during Sunday parade of Ganesha Idol Immersion on Sunday and claimed that this action would be accepted against those who indulge in violence.
“BJP has a skill to stimulate people to unnecessarily create groups and indulge in violence. We will take steps against it. We will also take steps against people who have been disturbed by violence regardless of the accusation that they are Hindu or Muslim,” he told reporters on Monday.
The main minister said the police had resorted to a mild lathi-bitch to dispel a group that gathered in front of the mosque. “According to my knowledge, the police acted by law.”
When Minister Agricultrue N. Cheluvarayaswamy said that BJP is indulging in these deeds to build its base, the main minister said: “Using a communal problem to build policy should not be a political party. It is a BJP that destroys peace in society.” ”
