Dixit said that July 25 was called by Raj Bhavan’s office to announce that the website falsely mentioned the Governor as a “executive member”, likely to add credibility and youth targeting in a suspicious fraud.
The Governor’s Office left the website verified by a unit for checking the facts of PARIB (PIB), which confirmed it was fake. Brijesh Yadav, a show of computer crime units, said it was registered by companies and there is an effort to identify and monitor operators behind the site.
Raj Bhavan, an official, filed a complaint at a police station in the area of cyber crime on Saturday, after which the case was registered, confirmed the police official. He stated that the process of blocking the false website has already been going on.
