Rajampet MP PV Midhun Reddy was sent to the central prison of Rajahmundra (RCP) late on Sunday evening, after a court order to custody issued by ACB Vijayawad in connection with the case of alcohol scandal. The score of the YSR Congress leaders, led by a former deputy Rajamahendrav Margani Bharat, gathered before the prison in a Solidarity show. Prison authorities already previous arrangements for their arrival and ensured a smooth admission process.
Outside prison, the municipal police deployed other staff to maintain vigil and prevent any protests or rally against the arrest of Mr. Midhun Reddy. Mr. Bharat spoke to journalists outside prison and arrested and accused the unfounded.
