Air India from San Francisco to Bombai has suffered a technical hitch in one of its engines, thanks to which the passengers had to be launched during the planned stop at the airport (June 17, 2025).

Flight AI180 arrived in time at 20045 hours at the airport, but the technical snag in the left engine led to the lag.
At about 0520, a notification was made on the plane that asked all passengers to release.
The decision was made in the interest of the safety of the flight, the captain told passengers.
