
Passengers from Jaipur to Bombai accused indigo of poor treatment and lack of support after missing his flight – the situation he says led to a business loss £2,65 lakh. Khayan Garg, who headed for an important meeting of clients, shared his experience in a detailed post on LinkedIn. He claimed that he arrived at Jaipur Airport on time for his early morning flight and cleaned safety until 5:10.
“I was told that eating would start in 10-15 minutes. The gate was full of people, so I quickly went to the toilet,” he wrote. However, when he returned 12 minutes later, he was informed that the catering had already been closed.
“I was literally surprised when it was supposed to start on board,” Garg said.

He added that no announcement was issued for his flight in Mumbai, and when he questioned it, employees said Jaipur was a “quiet airport”. Garg, however, pointed out that the next flight to Dehradun was announced just a few minutes earlier. “When I said it, the staff refused it directly into my face,” he said.
Garg said he begged his folded hands and explained that his meeting was urgent. Despite his efforts, he was not allowed to take the flight. “No alternative option. No help with another flight. No refund. No empathy,” he said.
According to Garg, the missed flight was worth agreement £2,65 lakh. “We lost the client. The monthly effort disappeared in seconds,” he wrote.
Called the dairing experience and added, “It is not one missed years. It’s about responsibility. It’s about humanity.”
He urged airlines to treat passengers with greater justice and kindness, especially during demanding situations such as bad weather. Garg also dismissed help from people in the aerospace industry on how to find a return or replacement.

Garg’s LinkedIn Post quickly became viral on social media, and it even raised an airline that said “Dear Garg, we understand how disappointment can be missed, and our carefully planned travel has been disrupted. We respect that we will not continue with him, we really appreciate your patience and understanding.
