“What started as a delayed departure has turned into a harrowing path. Shortly after take -off, we were hit by unprecedented turbulence. About an hour later the captain announced the flight signal error and diverted to Chennai …”
“For almost two hours we circled at the airport and waited for check-in to land until our first attempt to stop the heart-more aircraft was reportedly on the same track. In that broken second, the captain’s rapid decision saved every life on board.
“We have been rescued by skills and happiness. The safety of passengers cannot depend on happiness. I invite @dgcaindia and @Moca_goi to re -examine the incident, correct the responsibility and ensure that they never failed,” he added.
What did Air India say?
Air India responded to Congress’s leader and said, “We would like to clarify that the departure to Chennai was preliminary because of a suspicious technical problem and poor weather conditions.”
“During the first attempt to land at Chennai Airport, not because of the presence of another aircraft on the track, it was instruction of the ongoing circuit, and in this case proceeded during the flight at Chennai airport,” Air India said.
“We understand that such an experience may be disturbing and regret the inconvenience that may have caused you to move away. However, safety is always our priority,” the airline added.
Air India also regretted the inconvenience caused and created alternative measures to fly passengers first, first, first,
Flight AI2455, operated with Airbus A320, was available on the Flightradar24.com website in the air for more than two hours. It took little around 20:00 from Thiruvananthapuram and landed in Chennai around 22:35.
