The dance program was performed as part of the “Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum” on the National Sanskrit University campus (NSU) here on Sunday (August 10, 2025). Through his performance, the artist broke the essence of Bhagavad Gita and his usefulness as the main light for humanity.
The event organized by the University in cooperation with the dance academy Sri Annamayya and Andhra Pradesh Private Najed School Managements Association (Appusma) was part of the ongoing Week Sanskrit celebrations.
Dance forms emphasized the glory of Lord Krishna as a teacher of par excellence, who during the test times provided valuable knowledge to his disciple Arjuna.
The NSU charged registrar K. Sambasiv Murtha called Gita a treasure of knowledge for all humanity and wanted everyone to read it, regardless of their religious faith.
The State Coordinator of the National Book of Telugu records (Malaysia) Narayan Swama explained the connection and literary cohesion between the languages of Sanskrit and Telugu. S. Sriramachandra Murtha, expert on Jyothisha Sastra, explained the topic of the dance program.
The academic dean of Rajanikanth Shukla, Vagvardhini Parishat coordinator Bharat Bhushan Rath, auxiliary officer for public contact with Kanapal Kumar, coordinator of the events of Sriram Babu, was also introduced.
Students from different schools in Tirupati participated and watched ballet. Recitation Gita was done later.
