The former English stimulator Stuart Broad revealed his ambition to enter coaching, with a long -term goal to produce another big star. Broad, the second highest English goal between Pacers with testing goals 604, shared that he had already conducted interviews with James Anderson and CEO of England Rob Key about working with young players at development level.
Broad already had a tasting, after his consultation stint with South Africa, where they continued the defeat of Australia in The final of the World Championship.
“It’s definitely something I want to stay with, coaching,” Broad The Telegraph said. “I talked to Rob Key a little about doing some things with younger pitchers in England when the schedule suits.”
Although Broad did not set any fixed axes, he set aside 2026 as a year he could formally launch his coaching path. He especially wants to work with the English U19 and U17, where the range for development is highest.
“U19 or even U17S – you really know what you are developing, and you have a base of technology, but a growth that you can do between 15 and 20 is huge,” he explained.
The 38-year-old also pointed to young talents such as Harry Moore, 6ft 6in Pacer, who is currently recovering from stress fracture, because examples of players they believe could quickly emerge with the right leadership. “What makes me most excited, where is Jofra Archer? Where is Jimmy Anderson?” Broad said.
Broad also approved England’s approach to get more involved in England in shaping the future. “I’m completely on the Rob Key side. You want your best cricket brains to keep sharing the best players and don’t want them to be postponed by having to skip the cost and a lot of hoops that might be a little unnecessary with the knowledge they have.”
The objectives of broadcasting
In addition to Broad coaching, he also outlined his ambitions as cricket transmitters. He admitted that he was still learning the craft and looking at the giants like Ricky Ponting and Ravi Shastri for inspiration.
“The level of analysis that.” Ricky ponting He gives the detail that goes to the tone of the voice with Ravi Shastri – how he can choose moments to really go. I always look and learn, ”Broad said.
“I’m definitely on broadcasting at the moment, because I’m definitely not at a level I am happy with. I want to improve and better and be at those moments when I call a great cricket.”
