Three Police Police staff of the Central Reserve Police (CRPF) died, while 15 were injured after the CRPF staff carried the accident near Kandva in the Basantgarh area in Jammu and Udhampura district in Kashmir, reported and quoted officials.
The incident occurred around 10:30 in Kadwa when the staff returned from the Basant Garh operation. The vehicle belongs to the 187 battalion.

The State Minister for Science and Technology of the Union Jitendra Singh spoke to the deputy commissioner DC Saloni Rai, who follows the situation.
He shared a post X and wrote: “Udhampur: worrying to receive a traffic accident involving a CRPF vehicle in the Kandva-Basantgarh. The vehicle has been carried by several brave CRPF jaws. I just spoke with the DC MS Saloni Rai.
Mos Jitendra Singh added that the locals volunteered to help rescue operations.
“The rescue measures started immediately. The locals voluntarily applied to help. All possible help is ensured,” X Post read.
J&K LG Manoi Sinha said in the post, “sadly groping with the loss of CRPF staff as a result of an accident near Udhampur. We will never forget their exemplary nation service. My thoughts are with surviving families. Praying for rapid recovery injured.
The vehicle carried 23 workers. While two staff died on the spot, 16 others were injured. They were evacuated to the hospital, where one more had an injury, which was a tax on three.
