An English teacher at a private school in Khammam died of a heart attack while delivering a lecture and demonstration at a teachers’ seminar in Khammam on Saturday.
The deceased, identified as G. Jayaraj, hailed from Madhira town in Khammam district. According to sources, he suddenly collapsed while conducting a training workshop.
He was immediately rushed to a local hospital where he was declared brought dead, sources added.
He was considered an expert in teacher education. His untimely death left his colleagues, other members of the teaching fraternity and his family in shock.
