Kalaburagi was arrested by the Sudanese national member under the Act on Foreigners for exceeding in India over its visa limit and moved him to the Detaining Center for immigrants in Bengalur.
The accused, Abu Safiyan Hyder Ahmad Almeen, came to the students visa for studying a pharmacy at the Rajiv Gandhi educational institution in Kalaburagagi.
During the investigation it was revealed that he had acquired a visa between 2013 and 2016 and came to India. Although his visa expired 22 November 2016, he exceeded for more than eight years in India.
After completing the documentation process, the police moved him to the illegal retention center for immigrants.
