A man died after falling while trying to board the moving Jaipur Express at Secunderabad railway station

A 31-year-old man died after falling while trying to board a moving train at Secunderabad railway station on Monday (June 8).

The deceased has been identified as Md Azad Ansari, 31, a laborer from Garhwa district in Jharkhand.

The incident was reported around 9.45 pm at platform number 8 where a man tried to board the Jaipur Express as it was departing. He lost his balance and fell, sustaining fatal injuries.

The Aadhaar card he obtained helped to establish his identity and subsequently his relatives were informed.

Police said the body has been taken for post-mortem and will be handed over to family members after legal formalities are completed. A case has been filed and further investigation is underway.
