As part of the NTR Bharosa Pension Scheme, the West Godavari district is set to pay a pension worth 114.25 Crore to 2,61,592 recipients per August, the district collector K. Vetri Selvi announced Wednesday (July 30).
The collector ordered officials to ensure smooth and timely payment. Payments will start on Friday at 7 am. For recipients who are unable to collect their pensions on the first day due to inevitable circumstances, payments will be available on August 2.
To facilitate distribution, measures were taken with the assistance of the Secretariat 5 303 villages and departments and other government employees. The collector urged the pensioners to remain available in their homes in designated deadlines and asked the employees to provide preliminary notifications to ensure availability.
Widow
The Government for August approved 4,358 new widow pensions (category of spouses). In Agiripalli Mandala, 200 recipients receive pension, 152 in Bhimadol, 107 in Buttayagud, 160 in Chintalapudi and 404 in Elur Urban.
The management confirmed its readiness to effectively distribute.
