
Suleiman Shah aka ASIF, alleged championship of the terrorist attack of Pahalgam, was killed on Monday with two of his colleagues during a meeting in Srinagar.
According to the PTI report, Suleiman was among the three terrorists killed at a joint action, called Mahadev Operations. The joint operation was carried out by the Indian Army and the Police of Jammu and Kashmir earlier during the day.
The report, which quoted the highest security officials, said the meeting began around 11:00 on Monday in the Lidwas area near Dara, near the Dachigam National Park. The security forces acted after they received the Tip-off, indicating the presence of foreign terrorists in the region.
The name “Mahadev” is derived from the location of the shooting, which occurred between the ridges Zabarwan and Mahadev. Two other terrorists killing in shooting were identified as Jibran – which was allegedly involved in the Sonamarg – and Hamza Afghanská tunnel last year, PTI said.
