
Police Ashoknagar recently cracked the case of kidnapping and saved the 37 -year -old private company manager, which was allegedly kidnapped by his girlfriend and her colleagues demanding the promotion.
The police managed to arrest four accused identified as Mohammed Asif Risaldar, 42, Mohammed Sohail Sheikh, 25, both from RT Nagar; Salman Pasha, 22, from DJ Halli; and Mohammed Nawaz, 27 years, from kg Halli, Saturday.
On the run, a victim’s friend is marked as Mahima VAT, which is the main accused in the case. On Saturday, he made an effort to watch them on Saturday, a representative of the Police Commissioner (Central Division) of Hakay Akshay Machhindra.
According to the police, the victim, identified as Lawrence Melwin, worked as a manager in a Dubai travel company and came to Bengalur on holiday and stayed in the house of her parents before she enrolled in the hotel on Residency Road.
The incident came to light when the victim’s mother leena filed a complaint on July 16 and claimed that her son, who was staying in the hotel, was mysteriously missing and did not respond to calls from 14 July. Police Ashoknagar registered a complaint on a missing person and launched a probe.
During the investigation, it was revealed that Melwin left the car with Mahima, which he allegedly booked. Near the Koramangala, however, the driver allegedly took the detour and stopped a few meters ahead, where two more came in. Melwin’s face was reportedly covered with a mask and was beaten. The suspects reportedly took the phone and a bag containing 1 lakh.
He was then transported to the service apartment, where he was allegedly tied and physically tortured and the demand was required for 50 lakh in cash for his release. Melwin tried to negotiate up to 20 lakh, but without success. Melwin reportedly told the police that the suspects were locked in the room and fed him before they went out.
Melwin even tried to starve and thought they would take him to the hospital. When he agreed to pay 50 lakh, they reportedly demanded Crore 2.5 GBP.
The case was interested in July 22, when a woman from a neighboring apartment heard Melwin’s shouts for help after the accused left. With the help of a woman he called his sister and informed her that she had trouble.
When his kidnappers returned, they realized that something was fine and forced him to get into the car before throwing him near Yeshwantpur. It was because the police managed to arrest four people who watched the apartment after watching them through local intelligence.
