
The industrial area of Zheerabad (ZIA) is due to develop as a priority node under the industrial corridor Hyderabad-Nagpur (HIC) at the price of 2 360 GBP Crore.
The government approved the contribution of the Center through the National Industrial Corridor for the Development and Implementation of Trust (Nišit), consisting of 596 GBP Crore as a capital and 655 GBP, Minister of the Union for Trade and Industry Jitin Prasada said he answered the question of Parliament Kadiyam Kavya.
The project under the HIC node located in the Sangarereddy district has an activation area of 3,245 acres. A special special -purpose vehicle was incorporated for the project, Niřite Zheerabad Industrial Smart City, and launched an offer for selection of project management for new cities (PMNC), he said.
Minister of the Union in response to Dr. Kavya said on industrial corridors Hyderabad-Nagpur and Hyderabad-Warangal that in August 2024 the Center approved the proposal of the TELANGANY government to develop Zereabad node as part of the HIC program within the National Industrial Corridor Development Program).
Within the Hyderabad-Warangal (HWIC) industrial corridor, Hyderabad Pharma City was originally identified for development. Given that the state government did not confirm this project, the Board of Directors decided to Niři 8 June 2022.
Mr. Prazada said that on the basis of a state government’s proposal, the Center granted the final approval of the national investment and production zone (NIZ) in the Sangareddy district (formerly Medak) January 22, 2016 and Hyderabad Pharma City in Rangareddy District 10 December 2019.
