Traders along the poorly maintained and Potole-Riddddd Civil Line Road are preparing for the lengthy struggle, starting with a road siege on the impact of the current state of the road on their business.
According to Kakkanad’s unit Keral Vyapari Vyavasayi Ekopana Samithi (KVES), there are 500 to 600 traders along the civilian road and its immediate objects, where trade also remains due to cascading effect. The organization was flooded with complaints of the affected members.
“Most shops risk closing if the situation persists. The condition is worse than what the trading community along the MG road is facing the metro. Although the Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) makes patchworks when it approaches it, it hardly means no difference, he added.
In the Thrikkar Forum, a survey of Thrikkakar handed over to the government handed over to the Government to improve 36 associated roads and nine intersections in a survey of the submitted government before the construction of the meter section.
“In addition to the Civil Line road, the Seaport-Airport Road, Ernakula-Elova Janath Road, and Edappally Toll-Vallathol Nagar-Popokatttupady Road, are also equally decisive for the most modern operation for metro work,” said Mrs. Anilkucar.
“The second roundabout without signal to Junction in Kakkanad is another significant development.
