Christian Medical College Hospital organized a two-day public health awareness campaign on heat-related diseases, which concluded on Tuesday at its Vellore campus.
According to a press release, the campaign was launched by P. Prathap Kumar, City Health Officer, Vellore City Corporation. He emphasized the importance of prevention as the primary strategy to reduce heat-related illnesses. He praised the idea of a task force on prevention, preparedness and implementation of strategies to address heat-related illnesses.
