In addition to their regular duties, the Bengalur Traffic Police staff was commissioned to create fuel protection and control pollution between motorists. Police officers educate the positioning at key intersections commuting about the impact of fuel wasting and vehicle emissions on the environment.
As part of this new initiative, the Byatarayanapura Traffic Police is close to motorists waiting for ecological reports and urge to accept simple but impressive engine shutting down in long signals, maintaining vehicles and reducing pollution, causing global warming.
“Motorists often overlook the cumulative impact of their everyday actions. A few minutes of idle at signals or aggressive driving not only waste fuel, but contribute significantly to air pollution,” the policeman said. “With rising fuel prices and deteriorating air quality, public awareness is the need for an hour,” said Hindu inspector connected to the operation of Byatarayanapura.
First, the campaign was launched at the Rajarajeshware Nagar signal and will be extended to other main signals that have a longer duration.
