The aircraft in Ahmedabad, which demanded more than 150 people on Thursday, the opposition leader in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge, expanded his condolences to the surviving families and urged government members, civil society members and congress to help survival.
In his stay, Mr. Kharge emphasized the urgent need for a thorough investigation of the incident led to the retirement or the Supreme Court judge to determine the exact cause of the disaster.
“The tragedy should never happen. I am deeply shocked and grinded by air accidents. Indian and foreign citizens, especially British nationals, lost their lives in this devastating incident. Government and all people, including parties and cadre leaders, must meet to help the families of the deceased and survivors.”
Mr. Kharge stressed that medical assistance must be preferred for the injured, while in the locality where the aircraft crashed, appropriate measures should be taken. He also stated that the government should take responsibility for the incident and ensure a transparent and impartial investigation of circumstances leading to tragedy.
He quoted reports that indicate that the aircraft took off soon despite unfavorable weather conditions due to the pressure of some passengers and claimed that this claim must be thoroughly verified and investigated.
“Detailed investigation of the judge of the Supreme Court-session or retirement is necessary to determine the reason for the accident, which occurred only a few minutes after take-off. The unprepared probe about the role of higher authorities could reveal the real causes of the accident.
He stressed concerns about the accident site and warned that there was a significant loss in life and property in the affected area. He called on the government to extend its support not only to the families of passengers, but also to the victims in the locality.
Congress’s leader also called on the parties to stand in solidarity with the survivors and to help for help at this difficult time.
