In a blistering counterattack to the INDIA bloc over its ‘vote chori’ allegations, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday (Nov 2, 2026) said the government was ready to call a special session of Parliament on the issue and dared Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to debate the issue in the House.
Dismissing the INDIA Bloc rally in Delhi on Sunday (Nov 1) as a “save infiltrator” rally, he wondered how the Congress formed governments in states including Telangana “if the EVMs are bad”, saying Rahul Gandhi can only become prime minister in a mock parliament.
Mr. Shah led a padayatra here “Save democracy, remove anarchy” BJP said, “Rahul is holding the constitution in his hand but he is not respecting the constitution. Rahul ji, you will not allow parliament to contest. Be it EVM, SIR, infiltrators, I am calling you from Hyderabad. We are ready to call a parliamentary debate.”
He went on to say, “We will remove every infiltrator from the electoral rolls.”
If the Parliament session is held, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will “tear the Congress to pieces,” he said, accusing the Congress of wanting to be in the limelight through anarchy.
