BJP state in-charge Harish Dwivedi will be on a three-day visit to Karnataka from November 2. This is his first visit to the state after assuming the new responsibility.

BJP State President BY Vijayendra, who told the media in Bengaluru on Monday, said that Mr. Dwivedi will hold a meeting of the party’s state officials during his visit.

He will also meet core committee members and senior leaders and visit Kolar and Chitradurga as part of an exercise to strengthen the party’s organisation.

Mr. Vijayendra claimed that the current political atmosphere in the state is favorable for the BJP. “In fact, a private agency has conducted a survey that suggests the BJP would have won 115 seats if the elections were held now,” he noted.
