Business institutes are against computer testing machine

The Tamil Nadu Commerce Institutes Association (TNCIA) opposed the government’s decision to combine a typewriter test with a certificate course on the computer for office automation (COA).

In the petition submitted to the district administration on Monday, the association stated that the decision would affect approximately 5,000 typewriters in the state. The decision to perform a typewriter test on the use of computers from 2027 would affect the livelihood of a large number of teachers and mechanics used in these institutions. The Association demanded that the typewriter tests be carried out on typewriters.
