A researcher from GM University is among the top 2% of the world’s scientists

Madhukesh JK, a researcher in the Department of Mathematics at GM University, has been named among the top 2% of the world’s scientists in the 2026 global list compiled by Stanford University and Elsevier.

Mr. Madhukesh features in the list for the fourth consecutive year, from 2023 to 2026, in recognition of his research contributions and academic work, according to a report issued by GM University.

According to the university, Mr. Madhukesh has a global rank of 1,08,066 and a sub-rank of 1,032. He has an h-index of 16 and a hm-index of 7. He has published 122 research papers and received 791 citations. The report states that he has been regularly publishing research papers since 2021 and has been a steady contributor to mathematical research.

University Chancellor GM GM Lingaraju, Vice-Chancellor SR Shankapal, Pro Vice-Chancellor Venu Gopala Rao, Registrar Sunil Kumar BS, management and faculty members congratulated Mr. Madhukesh for the recognition, the release said.
