When asked about his dream players from the Indian Premier League (IPL) that he’d love to see joining the SA20 league, Philander named three Indian stars that he believes would be fantastic additions to the competition.
1. Jasprit Bumrah
Philander, who has played international cricket against Bumrah on several occasions, praised the Indian fast bowler’s ability to adapt to different conditions and conditions. 2. Hardik Pandya
The all-rounder’s all-action approach on the field is a major asset in T20 cricket, and Philander believes Pandya would be a breath of fresh air for the SA20 league. "Pandya is an excellent cricketer, and his ability to bat, bowl, and field at the same level would be a significant asset for any team in the SA20. 3. Suryakumar Yadav
Philander praised Yadav’s unorthodox batting style, saying, "Surya is a unique force in T20 cricket. His unorthodox strokeplay and ability to play the big shots would be a thrill for fans, and his aggressive approach could create a lot of pressure for opposition bowlers. He’s got the ability to be a game-changer, and I think he would be a fantastic addition to the SA20 league."
When asked if he thought these Indian stars would be interested in joining the SA20 league, Philander replied, "I believe all three would be keen to experience the SA20 league. The format provides a great platform for players to showcase their skills, and the exposure would be immense. The SA20 league is an exciting proposition, and I’m sure these players would be eager to be a part of it."
