GMR Aero Technic signs MoU with French firm to set up Integrated Cabin Excellence Center in Hyderabad

A Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) provider based in Hyderabad, GMR Aero Technic has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with French company UUDS Aero to develop advanced aircraft cabin interior capabilities in India.

As part of the partnership, the two companies will work towards setting up an Integrated Cabin Excellence Center at GMR Aero Technic’s Hyderabad facility. The center will focus on the design, modification, certification, repair, retrofitting, renovation, production and assembly of aircraft cabin interiors.

The collaboration will combine UUDS Aero’s expertise in cabin interior design, engineering, certification and manufacturing with the MRO infrastructure and operational capabilities of GMR Aero Technic. It aims to provide airlines and aircraft operators with integrated cabin interior solutions that meet the requirements of the Indian and international aviation markets, the note said.

UUDS Aero holds a European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Part 21J Design Organization Approval (DOA) and Part 21G Production Organization Authorization (POA) covering design and manufacturing activities.
