Eye screening camp for retired defense personnel

Larson & Toubro (L&T), in collaboration with Sankar Foundation Eye Hospital, conducted an eye screening camp for retired defense personnel at the CGHS-I Polyclinic near the railway station in the city on Saturday.

The camp was sponsored by L&T as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative. Dr. A total of 130 patients were screened by Sri Lakshmi, with 80 beneficiaries being prescribed and provided free spectacles.

The camp was inaugurated by NJ Murthy, HOD, Finance and Accounts, L&T, in the presence of Captain CG Raju, Officer-in-Charge, CGHS Polyclinic, and representatives of L&T and Sankar Foundation.

Mr. Murthy appreciated the eye care services provided by Sankar Foundation and assured continued support to improve access to quality eye care.
