
The Police arrested Domalgudy a forty -year -old person who blocked the man and destroyed his body in the elevator shaft on the shore of Himayathnagar.
The accused, Chepuri Narendar, was arrested on Tuesday at the Mahatma Gandhi bus station while trying to escape from the city.
The incident came out in the morning of April 28, when the victim discovered a guard identified as Ajay, lying in a pool of blood with a severe head injury in a ditch excavated for the lift next to the ATM. Ajay, described as the known presence around the building, was known to sleep on a nearby path and relies on begging for survival.
In the complaint filed by a supervisor in the opposite building, Ajay was involved in the previous night with an unidentified person. The complainant intervened together with the nearby shop and scattered them.
Through the analysis of CCTV shots, Narendar described the Narendar as suspicious.
Narendar, a native of Suryapet in Nalgonda district, migrated to Hyderabad in 2011. He lived on the streets around Domalguda and Chikkadpally. Police records show that it was previously involved in the case of murder registered at the Chikkadpally Police in 2024 and the case of theft in the Suryapet in 2014.
Narendar was released on bail from Chanchalgud 4. March 2025 and has since returned to Himayathnagar sidewalks.
