Bengalur traffic police have booking 668 motorists under the influence of alcohol during a special drive made throughout the city in the last week.
According to the official edition, up to 43 253 vehicles were checked. The police also booked 185 motorists who have been found to run over and slap a fine of 1,89,000 GBP.
The aim of the special drive was to reduce drunken driving and excessive driving to ensure road safety in the city. This ride will continue, said Mn Anucheth, a joint police commissioner, operation.
