The mysterious death of a Bengali woman in Sakleshpur prompts a family complaint to the police
A woman from Bengaluru died on Tuesday while visiting Sakleshpur taluk with her friends. Suspecting her death, her parents filed a complaint with the Sakleshpur Rural Police.
The 23-year-old man stayed in a cottage at Hiriyur in Valahalalli Gram Panchayat with two friends on September 11. She fell unconscious on Tuesday and was rushed to Hettur hospital by her friends. From there, she was taken to the government hospital in Sakleshpur, where doctors declared her brought dead.
Shubhanwita, SP of Hassan, told reporters on Wednesday that the girl was traveling with two people – Raghu and Darshan – both autorickshaw drivers. They checked into a room at Sri Devi Lodge on September 11. “She collapsed in the bathroom around 5.30 pm on September 15. Her friends took her to Hettur hospital and from there she was shifted to Sakleshpur government hospital where doctors declared her brought dead. Later we got information about her death,” she said.
The police informed her parents in Bengaluru. The parents reached Sakleshpur and filed a complaint early Wednesday morning. “The family has some suspicion about the death. A report of unnatural death has been registered. We will know the exact cause of death after receiving the post-mortem report,” she said. The constable said that the lady and her friends had known each other for a long time and they cooperated in the investigation of the case.
