MSME Institute to tie up with TGCHE for skill development

The National Institute of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (ni-msme) under the Ministry of MSME on Monday proposed a framework for collaboration with the Telangana State Board of Higher Education (TGCHE) to strengthen higher education and skill development in the state.

During a meeting with TGCHE Chairman V. Balakista Reddy, Director ni-msme (School of Entrepreneurship Development) K. Suryaprakash Goud discussed initiatives to increase employability and entrepreneurship among students.

Mr. Reddy highlighted the introduction of courses in technology and ethics, applied artificial intelligence, startups, governance and experiential learning with academic credits. He emphasized that internships, case studies and fieldwork will enhance students’ practical skills.

Mr. Goud announced plans to set up rural incubation centers under the PPP model, district-level centers of excellence and startup networks across Telangana.
