AP Maritime Board Chairperson Damacherla Satya has been appointed as the Tirupati Zone Coordinator of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP). Sarvepalli MLA Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy announced this during a review meeting on the ‘Virtual Mahanadu’ program in Tirupati on Monday.
“Satja is coordinating everyone. I have a connection with his grandfather Damacherla Anjaneyula, who served as a minister,” the MLA said while clarifying the responsibility of the constituency in-charges to ensure that every leader and activist participates in the ‘Mahanadu’ online event.
“The Grand Mahanadu was to be held in Nellore from May 27 to 29, 2026. Due to the war situation in West Asia, it was decided to hold it virtually from the TDP headquarters in Mangalagiri. This is the first Mahanadu to be held after Nara Lokesh was appointed as the Working President,” he added.
Leaders of national and state committees will meet at the TDP headquarters and all leaders from 78 groups in Tirupati parliamentary constituency will participate in the Mahanadu virtually. They will watch the program through LED screens set up in each cluster.
TUDA Chairman C. Diwakar Reddy, Srikalahasti MLA Bojjala Sudheer Reddy and TTD Board Member Panabaka Lakshmi were also present in the review meeting. They discussed in detail the arrangements for holding the event virtually.
