Software engineer from Hyderabad drowns in Sokiler current, five colleagues rescued

A 26-year-old software engineer, a native of Vijayawada city, drowned in the Sokileru stream near Chintoor in Polavaram district while taking a bath with five of his colleagues on Tuesday. Another five were rescued.

The deceased has been identified as Kosuri Nilesh. His body was recovered on Tuesday evening during a joint search operation by police and forest department personnel.

A group of six software engineers from Hyderabad visited Araku Valley before reaching Maredumilli area on Tuesday.

the chintoor police recovered the body and sent it to the chintoor government hospital for post-mortem. A case has been registered and investigation is on.
