Female employee throws ink at manager in Chhattisgarh over ‘obscene messages’ – Video | Today’s news

An employee was seen throwing ink at her boss after he allegedly sent her obscene messages and made inappropriate remarks. According to a report by Dainik Bhaskar, the incident took place on May 22 at Chauhan Automobiles in Bhilai in Durg district. The dramatic scene unfolded after the police arrived at the Maruti Suzuki showroom following a complaint from a female employee.

A woman has accused GM Ankit Anand of harassment. A video doing the rounds on social media shows the police entering the Maruti showroom followed by CEO Ankit Anand.

When the two entered the showroom, the woman became enraged and threw GM ink in her face. The police tried to stop the woman, but she continued to attack him and slapped him at the same time.

What did the staff say?

According to Bhilai Nagar CSP Satyaprakash Tiwari, an employee of Amrita Singh filed a written complaint against Chauhan Automobiles CEO Ankita Anand accusing him of repeatedly sending obscene messages and harassment, as reported by NDTV. However, the Mint could not independently verify the authenticity of the claims.

After the complaint gained wider attention, three to four other employees also came forward with similar allegations against GM. The police started an investigation on the basis of the initiative, and in view of the seriousness of the matter, officers at the CSP level are investigating the case.

‘He kissed my hand’

Meanwhile, in a similar incident reported earlier this month, a woman molested the CEO of a private company in south Delhi during her internship, according to a Times Now report.

According to police, the woman said her internship with the company was arranged through her university. During her internship, the CEO allegedly called her repeatedly, even late at night, and made inappropriate remarks.

“Despite objecting to the calls and attempting to end them, he allegedly continued to prolong the conversations,” police said. The woman also claimed that the accused touched her several times without consent. In her complaint, she alleged that he often called her to his cabin for minor work checks and allegedly kissed her hand during one such encounter.

She further claimed that the CEO threatened to destroy her career if she spoke to anyone about the incidents.

According to the complaint, the woman continued the internship because she needed proof of completion of the course. She also accused the company director and HR staff of harassment and intimidation.

She claimed that although her last day of work was scheduled for April 24, she was asked to leave the company on April 15 and was not provided with the required internship documents.
