The Minister of Consumer Tax Keral MB Rajesh said that all in the film industry should be able to imitate the “brave stand” taken by actor Vincy Aloshious against working with those who use drugs or narcotic substances.
Mr. Rajesh praised Mrs. Aloshi for her “brave and determined” stand and said it was the responsibility of the film industry and organizations that were part of it to ensure that people like Mrs. Alosh were not isolated or displaced above the stall.
“I talked to Vincy Aloshi. I praised her for a brave and determined attitude that took her that she wouldn’t work with those who use drugs. Everyone in the film industry should be ready to come and accept this attitude,” the Minister told reporters.
He also stated that Mrs. Aloshi assured him that she would cooperate with the investigation in connection with the accusations she made her, and that she was prepared to give her statements wherever necessary.
Mr. Rajesh reiterated that the state police and excise duty department were fighting drug threat and no sector would be devoted to special assessment or exception in an effort to fully free Keral from the influence of narcotic substances.
“Neither the cinema fields nor the celebrities will be any special considerations in this matter, because drug use is considered a social evil. It will solve strictly. It will be stamped by an iron fist,” the minister said.
In an effort to free the state from the influence of drugs, all the information that would help achieve the goal would be welcome and take seriously, he added.
Mrs. Aloshi filed a complaint against the Film Chamber and claimed that actor Shine Tom Chacko treated her “inappropriately” under the influence of drugs. Although she also announced the incident of the Association of Malaysian Film Artists (AMMA), she did not file a police complaint.
